Lithium upgrades are our specialty. We swap the six lead-acid batteries in your cart for one sealed lithium pack, at our service shop at 161 Goldsby Road in Santa Rosa Beach, with pickup and delivery.
For most carts on 30A, yes. A lead-acid set can only use about half its stored energy before it shortens the batteries’ life; a lithium pack uses nearly all of it. In everyday driving that means roughly 12 to 20 miles on lead-acid, 20 to 35 miles on a 105Ah lithium pack and 35 to 55 miles on a 160Ah pack.
These are general estimates; your cart, tires, load and driving change the result. The battery guide has every figure side by side, the assumptions behind them and a PDF to download.
Choose 105Ah if you make short trips around the neighborhood and to the beach, usually ride with two to four people, plug in every night and drive a stock cart.
Choose 160Ah if you drive 30A end to end and back in a day, often carry six people, have a lifted cart or oversized tires, or want to skip a night of charging now and then. It adds roughly 15 to 20 miles a charge over the 105Ah.
